How To Schedule A Video?

A video design is posted as a video everywhere: a Reel on Instagram and Facebook, a video on TikTok, LinkedIn and the other platforms. Its music goes with it.

Steps

Open the planner

In the editor, click Schedule a Post.

Pick your accounts and time

Choose the accounts to post to, write your caption, and pick when it should go out, as you would for a carousel. PostNitro picks each platform’s video post type for you.

Check it fits each platform

Before scheduling, PostNitro checks your video against each platform’s rules and tells you if something doesn’t fit, for example:

• the video is longer than 2:00, the longest any video can be;
• the video is longer or shorter than a platform takes;
• an Instagram story would be too long: turn off Add to Story, or shorten the video;
• a Facebook video isn’t between 16:9 (landscape) and 9:16 (vertical).

Schedule it

Click Schedule. At the scheduled time, the video is rendered exactly as it plays in the editor and posted.

Note: Scheduling videos is part of paid plans. On the free plan you can still edit and preview your video, and save it as a draft.
